This new release is an aged version of the popular CAO Amazon Basin cigar, which was rolled in 2021 and has been aged for two years in a Spanish cedar-lined aging room before heading to stores. The CAO Amazon Basin Extra Añejo is a 6 x 52 toro cigar that uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Brazil, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. It features Bragança tobacco, which is harvested just once every three years and is rolled into tubes for six months to receive fermentation, before being transported via canoes out of the Amazon rainforest. The MSRP for this release is $14.99 per cigar and is limited to 5,000 boxes of 18 cigars.
